Tell me about the lead up to the night before arriving to the venue. e.g. rehearsals, preparing costumes, how are you feeling, what went right or wrong?
When I was at the rehearsals, I was nervous because everyone would be looking at me. When I got my costume out I got a cartoon apron so I thought that people would look at me in a bad way.
Give your opinion of the song and dance routine chosen for our class?
My opinion of the songs we did for 5/6 girls, I liked Annie and A Chorus Line. I loved them. I didn’t really like singing in the rain because it was bit slow.
Apart from our own class routine describe another class routine.
I loved the year 5/6 boys dance because it had Greased Lightning in it. I liked the leather jackets. I also liked the fight scene because it looked real.
Describe your own costume/make up in detail.
My costume was stripey top, leggings, fake converses, a cartoon apron with speech marks on it, I was wearing my hair down and no make up.
Review the staff routine of “Can’t Stop the Music” by the village people.
I LOVED “Can’t stop the music” because all our teachers did it. Included in the teachers were Mrs Nocka and the librarian. It was AWESOME. I was going to stand up and cheer and sing but someone said I couldn’t.
What were the highlights from your your viewpoint.
The highlight of the performance was Greased Lightning because it was AWESOME!, I also liked Annie because there was a lot of of stomping and I like making noise.
